"About a month ago I purchased a new Sirius receiver and found out that the fcc made them turn down their transmitters making them nearly useless. My old receiver would broadcast to all fm radios in my home and came across loud and clear in my truck. I was told I had two options:

• Will the Whole House FM Transmitter Work With My Particular Satellite Radio? - We receive many calls and emails asking if their Satellite Radio is compatible/ works with the Whole House FM Transmitter. Our answer is simply this: "We have never run into a Satellite Radio that couldn't use our FM Transmitter."

  Since you can use either a standard stereo headphone jack or RCA jack you can pull the audio either directly from the Satellite Radio itself, the Home or Car Docking Kit or from your home stereo system, boombox, etc. Still want more details? Below is a list of the most current Satellite Radios available from Sirius and XM and how they can work with our FM Transmitter.

• Do I Have to Pay a Monthly Fee or Subscription? - No, once you purchase the Whole House FM Transmitter you can use it as long as you like, whenever you like and never have to pay another fee. (You will however still need to purchase a subscription from Sirius or XM to receive a signal on your Satellite Radio)
• Do I Still Need a Satellite Radio? - Yes, the Whole House FM Transmitter will rebroadcast the signal received by your Satellite Radio to any FM Radio but it will not pick up the Satellite Radio signal directly.
  • NOTE: An exception to this is if you use the Internet to access your subscription then you could just broadcast from your computer and not need a receiver.
• How Exactly Does the Whole House FM Transmitter Work? - It's a very simple process, as the customer comments mentioned above, it only takes a few minutes to setup.
  1. Setup your Satellite Radio to receive a clear signal
  2. Plug in the Whole House FM Transmitter into the audio out port (either on the Satellite Radio directly, the Home/ Car Docking Kit, Boombox, etc.)
  3. Set the frequency on the FM Transmitter to a station not used or weak in your area
  4. Tune in any FM Radio to the frequency you selected above
  5. Begin listening to your Satellite Radio throughout your home, backyard, office, etc.
